Make the Emerald Isle Your Next Vacation Destination

Our planet is filled with wondrous places to visit. Some give you action and adventure while others offer a relaxing respite from the real world. If an escape from the stress of everyday life is what you seek, few places can cater to your desires quite like Ireland. From modernistic city life to unbelievable natural wonders, the Emerald Isle is a treasure trove of sights to behold. My friend who works at Dryer Vent Tech in Franklin TN, has shared with me many wonderful experiences he has had with travel destination.

Taking in All Ireland Has to Offer

Ireland offers a uniquely mixed bag of vacation bliss. You’ll find any number of opportunities for sightseeing, immersing yourself in the local culture, and learning about the country’s extensive history among other activities. Consider some of the possibilities as you dream about getting away to this gorgeous country.

Emerald Isle

Celtic Castles and Ruins

Though there are countless reasons for making Ireland your vacation destination of choice, quite a few visit the country for little more reason than to tour the ancient castles and ruins. By some accounts, there are more than 30,000 of those incredible stone sights to see amidst the Irish landscape.

You probably won’t be able to visit all of them during your Ireland getaway unless you spend a few months there, but some of the most popular are Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel, and Dunluce Castle. Visitors can also stop by Dublin Castle where the country’s government handles many of its official affairs. You can tour Chapel Royal on the castle grounds with its exterior of limestone likenesses of famous Irishmen as well.

Unbelievable Natural Landscape

While Ireland is famous for its splendid castles and Celtic ruins, it’s also famous for its exquisite landscape. From green rolling hills, seaside cliffs, and beautiful blue ocean views to its magnificent lakes and glens, there’s no end to the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the country. You can hike through remarkable mountain trails or take in the landscape from afar during a sailing excursion.

Visitors can also gain a firsthand glimpse of the black basalt cliffs and columns of the Antrim Plateau and Giant’s Causeway as they tour Ireland’s natural wonders. Those impressive formations are believed to have been created by volcanic activity millions of years ago. Although covering all of Ireland on foot would be impossible, you’d miss out on a great deal of its natural beauty by not enjoying at least a few hikes and walking tours.

Enjoying the Emerald Isle in All Its Glory

Celtic ruins and stunning natural landscapes are only a couple of the must-see sights of Ireland. You can visit some of its seaside towns to experience the local culture and hospitality and enjoy local music festivals among numerous other opportunities. If you visit once, you’ll find yourself drawn back to those striking shores over and over again.
